My journey through China was more extensive as I stayed there for over four months. I arrived via a train from Vietnam directly to Beijing. After exploring the usual attractions in Beijing, I traveled to the city of Xian to see the Terracotta Warriors. From there, I headed west through several small towns until I reached the northwestern region of China. From there, I continued southward to the provinces of Yunnan and Sichuan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sichuan).

It was an incredible trip filled with experiences like visiting the Panda Zoo and various hikes, one of which was on Yellow Mountain (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huangshan).

I stayed in Zondian for a while, and from there, I traveled to Hong Kong to extend my stay in China through a visa run. Then, I went to Kunming, the southern capital, and traveled to Cambodia and Laos. Kunming and Zondian are both located in the Yunnan province, which locals refer to as Shangri-La (http://da.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yunnan).
